Since Chip’s Fire in The Booth nearly 3 months ago the grime work has erupted with artists sending shots at each other, this beef has ignited the scene and has caused numerous artists to respond including veterans such as Saskilla, Big Nartsie, Devilman as well as new comer Bugzy Malone who were all aimed at in Chip’s song ‘Pepper Riddim’ which caused shockwaves throughout the industry the response by Brum MC Devilman was the first to respond over a gritty drum n bass instrumental followed by Saskilla storming reply ‘ Chip Off My Shoulder’ screaming his aggressive disses at Chip then followed by the up and coming talent Bugzy Malone who got positive responses from fans and over a Z Dot production he came with accusations of hiring out Chris Brown and discrediting his grime credibility and ‘regulating’ Chip from the Grime Premiership, after lots of buzz on social networking Chip responded to those Artists with ‘ The End’ a Heavytrackerz tune which he tries to ‘end’ people speaking his name while sending subliminal shots at Malone , Narstie and Devilman in particular. This caused Bugzy Malone to respond 4 days later with the revival calling out Chip again and referring to Devilment as a snitch.
From the Pepper Riddim by Chip Devilment sent shots at old time rival Skepta, who has been a massive figure in the scene for over 15 years and wasn’t expected to respond to Devilment due to his stature in the game but responded over the classic war dub ‘Morgue’ by Wiley and brought up the informant allegations and how he isn’t relevant anymore, with Devilman replied then less a day later over a similar drum n bass war dub.
